We offer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and martial arts programs with a curriculum-driven approach and a culture that genuinely sets us apart. Our students don't just learn technique — they build character, confidence, and lifelong friendships.

We're looking for a coach who gets that. Someone who sees Jiu Jitsu as a vehicle for real change — not just a job.

The Role

Responsibilities

Teach kids and adult BJJ classes (gi and no-gi) across all levels
Develop and follow structured curriculum for beginners through advanced
Lead the kids' program and maintain strong communication with parents
Supervise open mat sessions and foster a welcoming training environment
Track student progress and assist with belt promotions
Support competition prep for students who want to compete
Help drive member retention through genuine relationships
Keep the academy clean, safe, and positive at all times
Participate in seminars and special events
Report to the gym owner on attendance and student development

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Technical ability matters — but it takes a back seat to who you are as a person and how you show up for this community every day.

Must Have

Brown belt or higher
Prior teaching or coaching experience
Strong communication skills — especially with kids and parents
Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
Genuine passion for Jiu Jitsu as a lifestyle and a calling
Positive, high-energy presence on and off the mat

Bonus Points

Experience running or leading a structured kids' program
CPR / First Aid certified
Competition background (local, regional, or national)
Ability to help promote the academy on social media
